how does produce becomes food, food a meal, and a meal a "supperclub"? an eight-course 'from pasture, peak and palm' eating experience that brought together seasonal produce from three rural cooperatives in inner mongolia, sichuan and hainan to one dinner table in shanghai. co-curated and presented by food healer June Zhu (朱子颖), Chef Rambo (波厨) of 703 无菜单 (No-Menu), and the organisers of the three cooperatives, it was a meal, as well as an exploration of what it takes to make and share a meal across our geographical, social and cultural distances. hosted at 麻了 MUALA on september 6, 2025 as a part of the inaugural common ground 乡遇 gathering, with generous support from the venue's kitchen and Hona Organic (禾然有机), BASAO, 七约米酒, GOHI (国稀酿造).
